HUMAN SERVICES COUNCIL

Description

The Human Services Council promotes the well-being of the communities it serves in the Mid-Fairfield area through human services coordination, community planning, program sponsorship and information and education. Its goals are to: help the community recognize and understand its human needs; stimulate interest and participation in meeting those needs; plan and promote the orderly development of well-balanced human service programs; and systematically implement and coordinate effective programs.

 

Sponsors: The Community Indicators report bi-annually; the Children's Connection; The Mid-Fairfield Substance Abuse Coalition; the Norwalk Mentor Program; the Dr. Robert Appleby School Based Health Center; The Voluntarry Action Center of Coastal Fairfield County; and 40 S. Main Street.
