IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM

Description

The Norwalk Immunization Action Plan (IAP) Program helps to keep children from birth to age 2 up-to-date with immunizations that protect against 14 dangerous diseases. The IAP staff works with a private computerized registry called the CT Immunization Registry & Tracking System (CIRTS) to keep a record of children's vaccination dates, and will notify parents and pediatricians if children are missing any of their shots. Please call 854-7728 for more information. The Health Dept. Travel and Immunization Program provides immunizations for international travel, and routine vaccinations offered to prevent disease.
