Connecticut's National Family Caregiver Support Program is designed to supplement the assistance that family members provide to an elder, or to a grandchild, by providing supplemental services and/or respite care to those with the greatest social or economic needs. The Program serves an adult caregiver caring for a family member 60 years of age or older, and a grandparent or other relative caregiver who is 60 or older caring for a child 18 years of age or under.
